I have 3 pairs of Columbia shoes/boots in my closet, all size 7 and fit perfectly, so I figured these were definitely a sizing defect and that was why the price was so good. So, I contacted LeftLane Sports, Inc. and let them know the dilemma - they denied the sizing defect. They were fine for an exchange (the next size up wasn't available so I would have to get a whole size larger), or a return, but I would have to pay return shipping either way, and if the second pair doesn't fit, well, you pay return shipping again. Well, needless to say, I returned them and have paid $14 in shipping and have nothing to show for it. Will never buy from LeftLane Sports again.

Plus size OOTN 11-12-2011 I was super stoked to receive these boots, but they just weren't for me. The style was as shown, chocolate brown was very deep and rich. I was really dissappointed to find that the fit was awful! These were in no way comfortable or flattering (on me). I have never worn Timberlands before, and I discovered I would need at least 1/2 - 1 full size larger than my normal size. The calf did not fit well either, it was slightly too tight for my 14.5"ish calves and baggy the rest of the way down, and not in that cute, slouchy way. Unfortunately, these are not the ones for me, and I didn't like them enough to exchange for a bigger size.

It doesn't smell "chemical-y," but it probably is from some chemical in the manufacture or storage process. Anyone else have this problem? I have tried washing multiple times and drying in dryer and also just handing dry. I hanged them outside and inside. I used perfumy detergent and also baking soda. URBAN WEAR 4 PLUS I love Crocs and wear a pair of Beach Crocs most days. About a month ago, I purchased a pair of these Off-Road Crocs to try on my 24 day trip to Guatemala and Mexico. I've loved my Crocs on previous trips because they were comfortable and easily washed off. I was looking forward to the thicker sole and toe protection that this style offered. They proved to be very comfortable over miles of walking and hiking.In Mexico, I was getting out of a car when the driver suddenly took off and ran over my heel and ankle. As I fell to the pavement, my foot turned sideways in the Croc and the thick sole provided enough cushion to allow me to escape with a scrape and a bruise. It ripped my Croc where the strap connected on one side, but I was able to continue my travels and walk many more miles over the next week (in my Beach Crocs).If you like Crocs, these offer a thicker sole, toe protection and an adjustable strap. I found that they were exactly what I was looking for. I plan to repair mine or get another pair ASAP. If you haven't tried Crocs, you might try a cheaper pair first.
